The Start! Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere fund-raising and walking event. East Hawaii’s event is known as the Start! Hilo Heart Walk & Health Fair. The theme for Heart Walk is: CREATE HOPE! INSPIRE CHANGE! CELEBRATE SUCCESS! Walk starts at 8:00 a.m., Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.and the Health Fair goes from 7:00am to 11:00 am. There will be healthy communities that will Create Hope, Inspire Change and Celebrate Success. Activities will include: Cholesterol, Glucose, Blood Pressure, Stroke Risk Assessments, Heart Healthy Snacks, Entertainment, and much more!
