Delighting global audiences for more than ten years Black Grace with its spirit, passion, and unique point of view with a fusion of traditional Pacific cultures and contemporary dance is an all-male ensemble of six dancers of Pacific Island and Maori descent. The dances are inspired in part by indigenous dance from that part of the world and by the men’s compact, solidly built physiques. Western modern dance and martial arts have been woven into the mix, with oddly eloquent little gestures poking through. They are an extension of the personal history of its founder and choreographer, Neil Ieremia.
Reserved Seating. Tickets are $30 General, $25 Discount, and $15 for UHH/HCC Students with Valid ID and Children 12 & Under.
