SHICHIGOSAN - CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL

Shichigosan is a traditional Japanese event celebrated by 3 and 5 year old boys and 3 and 7 year old girls. In November, children dressed in kimono visit a Shinto shrine to report their healthy development and to receive divine blessings. Hawaii Kotohira Jinsha - Hawaii Dazaifu Tenmangu has initiated a special event with complimentary kimono dressing to perpetuate a tradition that is spiritually enriching and culturally exciting. Shichigosan Blessing includes: Blessing• Omamori • Goodie Bag • Candies Complimentary Kimono Rental, Dressing, hair and makeup as part of our service to the community $50.00 Donation By Reservation only.
