
This popular festival showcases the blooming of Waimea’s historic cherry trees and hanami, the Japanese tradition of viewing them. A host of activities sprawl from Church Row Park to the Parker Ranch Historic Homes. Visiting performers and artisans from Japan demonstrate the arts of bonsai, origami, sumie, calligraphy, and tea ceremonies.
